A first conversation
One meeting to say what is going on and work out whether I can be of use to you.
- Length
- 50 minutes
- Where
- In Rome, or online
- How often
- One meeting, with nothing obliged to follow
A first conversation lasts fifty minutes and does one job: it works out what this is about. You tell me what brings you here, in whatever words you have, even if they are few and unclear. There is nothing to prepare, and you do not need to know already what to call what you are living through.
At the end I tell you plainly what I think I have understood and what kind of work might make sense. If I think someone else would suit you better — a colleague with different training, a doctor, a public service — I say so, and where I can I give you a name.
What actually happens
- You write through the contact form and I reply within two working days.
- We agree a day and a time, at the consulting room in Rome or online.
- We meet once. Neither of us commits to going further.
- If we decide to continue, we settle the frequency and the terms before the second meeting.
It often takes another meeting or two before deciding. That is normal, and it is not time wasted: those meetings are where the question comes into focus, which is already part of the work.
