How it works
What happens, from the first message to the last meeting. No surprises and nothing committed to in advance.
This page exists because most people do not write out of fear of what happens once they have written. Here is what happens, in full.
1. You write to me
Through the contact form, in whatever words you have. You do not have to explain everything and you do not need technical terms. If you would rather say little, that is fine: the rest is said in person.
2. I reply myself
Within two working days, personally. There is no secretary and no automated system. In my reply I suggest one or two possible times.
3. We meet once
Fifty minutes, in the consulting room or by video. It is an introductory meeting: neither of us commits to going on, and at the end I tell you plainly how it looks to me and what I would suggest.
4. We decide
If it makes sense to continue, we fix a day, an hour and a frequency — usually one meeting a week, always in the same slot. You know the fee before we start, not after.
5. We work
At the regularity we agreed. There are intense stretches and stretches where nothing seems to happen: both belong to the same piece of work, and we talk about them openly as they come.
6. It ends
Work ends when the question that opened it has found a shape, not when a number of sessions runs out. An ending is prepared together, some weeks in advance. If you decide to stop sooner, I ask only for one last meeting to close: that is for you more than for me.
If you miss a meeting
Cancellations given at least twenty-four hours ahead are not charged. Below that, the meeting counts as held, because that hour stays reserved for you and cannot be given to anyone else. It is the only rigid rule I ask for.
Already answered elsewhere
The other questions that usually hold people back, each answered in full.
Writing is the first step
Tell me in your own words what this is about. I answer you myself, personally.
